Should abortion be up to the person it affects…Yes. Should abortion be regulated by the government…Yes. Within all of this the problem is finding a balance between the two since each side believes it has the one and only answer. The antiabortionists do make many very strong points about how after a certain time the mother should be obligated to have the fetus, because if she hasn’t decided to rid herself of it by now she should have to live with her decisions. They also seem to harp on the saying that if you were aborted how would you feel in this whole debate? Hell if I was aborted I probably would even care because I would have never been alive to listen to their bogus statements. Also in the new legislation it doesn’t even motion how ther
e should be certain acceptations if the mother’s life is in jeopardy, regardless of what trimester the fetus is in the mother’s heath and safely should always be put ahead of the unborn fetuses. Lastly I think the reason why this piece of legislation was pushed through was because it had the compete backing of President Bush; therefore it had the approval of every Christian in the House.

For to long we've been giving the mother all the rights. Its about time we gave some rights to the unborn human being. The Supreme Court got it right in making it illegal to perform partial birth abortions in the United States, its a gruesome procedure and should've been outlawed a long time ago.
