"Then Sept. 11, 2001, happened, and we got it. (Giuliani)" This is the claim by Presidential candidate Rudolf Giuliani about how the Republic party has been able to control the war against terrorism since the 9/11 attack; the problem is what exactly have we “got.” From what I have seen, by watching the news, all we caught was a leader who had no weapons of mass destruction, and we got ourselves hated by the rest of the world because of the turmoil we have caused in Iraq. Also, Giuliani claimed that only the republicans will be able to end the terrorist problem by using offense and all the democrats want to do is pull back and use defense; this also seemed like one big article about how Giuliani wanted to plug his own candidacy. Even though I think this 
who article is crap and is only an attempt for Giuliani to push his run for presidency, he does make a few good point about how if the democrats won they would go on the defensive. If this was top happen they would retract all the troops and efforts they had put into Iraq make all their actions useless since they didn’t get to finish their job. Also by going on the defensive we are saying that the situation in Iraq is not our problem and this can only cause more harm to our country in the future…we need to stop terrorism now and swiftly to ensure it doesn’t start up again and do more damage to our country.
