Immigration Bill Offers To Much

In my opinion this most recent immigration bill, proposed by President Bush and group of bipartisan Senators, is going to do to much to help out people that illegally come into this country and just want to stay for the benefits then get such as tax breaks for their kids to go to school. Also the fact that they propose to give ALL illegal immigrants in this country temporary status seems like it may get out of hand and how are they going to find all of these immigrants; in the future they only plan to give work visas to the skilled and educators workers who want to come here. This is only going to cause more problems for congress because now they have to consider what is “skilled” and if we even need them in this country…I they if you came here illegally you need to get back over that boarder and stay there. There are a lot of negatives is this bill does not pass and is torpedoed in the Senate or the house: immigrants coming into the country under the temporary work program would have to leave when their permits expire, with no chance to appeal for permanent residence. Labor unions say such a system would depress wages and create an underclass. Along with this many of these “illegal immigrants” do the jobs that keep our economy were it is today, and many of there jobs no self respecting American would ever touch with a ten foot poll, so in a sense wee need them to keep out strong economy going in the right direction.
