Initially I thought that past Presidents are supposed to support each other, and even the current President, since they all know how hard it is to have that job, but apparently Jimmy Carter missed that meeting as shown by his recent comments about President Bush’s global impact. After reading this article I think that Jimmy Carter should retract his statements made about Bush, even if they may be true, but regardless he should never come out and bash Bush’s global impact; h
e has not right mainly because he never had to deal with problems of this magnitude. Then to go on and say Bush’s administration is the “worst in the history,” with regards to their impact on the nation and the world, Jimmy should go back to his book writing and stay out of what he does not understand. Even though I think that Carter should have kept his comments to himself, what he said was not to far away from the truth, Bush and his administration has done very little if anything to help the USA’s international relations and impact. Carter also “criticized Bush for having "zero peace talks" in Israel. Carter also said the administration "abandoned or directly refuted" every negotiated nuclear arms agreement, as well as environmental efforts by other presidents.”
