In this article by the New York Times they discuss how the country wants Al Gore to come out of his “political retirement” and run again for president, probably because there is no truly strong candidate this year which the public believes can solve all the problems Bush has created. Personally I think that Al Gore should stay put where he is and continue on trying to help out planet not be destroyed by the “global warming” problem. Gore has done so much good since he has taken him self out of mainstream politics and whose to say that he would even be a good president, maybe he has lost his ambition for those type of things? Even 
though he has attempted to do a lot of good for our countries future, outside of the political world, mainly focusing on the environment with his movie “An Inconvenient Truth,” Gore should return to politics where he rightfully belongs. He would be very good for this country and would be able to get the USA out of the many problems Bush has caused us, and in doing so would have the public support; unlike Bush whose approval rating seem to be dropping by the minute. Gore needs to put his past presidential run behind him, even though he probably still thinks he should have one, and move on to better things; if he is president he will be able to end the “global warming” problem that he warns us all about.
