President Bush recently took a stab at the Bill, just recently passed by the Senate, which would require a timetable for withdrawing out troops form Iraq and according to him would leave Iraq in a state of chaos. I agree with what Bush is saying about how if the military was to leave Iraq it would not help anyone, it would provide a safe haven for terrorism to grown and for terrorist to plot more attacks against our country. Also, we can’t leave the Iraq government structure the way it is now, because by now having a strong government Iraq will only fall deeper into the civil war they are fighting now. Reid, however, does make many strong points to withdrawal out troops form Iraq; we need to bring them back for their won safety and not leave them there to die in the middle of a civil war they don’t need to be fighting/dying in. Also, we need to end this stupid 4 year onslaught on terrorism which has yielded almost nothing for the time and money our country has put into it…we need a change and it all starts by this bill passing and sending our troops home.
